.Kanda Yuu. D. Gray-man Nationality: Japanese Age: 18 Height: 175 cm ~(5 ft 9 in) Weight: 61 kg ~(134 lbs) Birthday: June 6th Kanda is an Exorcist, a person compatible with the Innocence that is the only means of fighting against the Millennium Earl's Akuma. His Innocence takes the form of a katana called Mugen, meaning 'Six Illusions.' Not much is known about Kanda's past, save that he is searching for an unknown person. He has stated that he won't die until he finds this mysterious someone, and this claim is backed up by his extraordinary healing capacity. This ability is tied into the tattoo on his chest and the lotus flower he keeps in his room at the Black Order headquarters. As long as the flower blooms, Kanda has superhuman regenerative power, but when the last petals fall he will die along with the flower. Personality: Kanda does not get along with people. Kanda would like his fellow Exorcists to shut up and go away. In fact, the only things Kanda does like are soba, his sword, and possibly the mysterious person he's searching for. However, in a pinch, he'll come through for his comrades, if only for the fact that they're slightly more useful alive than dead... In Luceti: Kanda appeared in Luceti sometime after chapter 138, just before Headquarters was attacked, carrying a Mugen mysteriously repaired by the Malnosso. The day after his arrival he was forced to deal with de-aged versions of his comrades for a week, and things have not looked up for him since. His wing color is black. Currently, Kanda lives in house #6 with his old friend Daisya Barry. He spends his time meditating, training, and threatening to stab anyone who posts loud voice entries in the journals. He tolerates Lavi, gets along better with Lenalee than he'll ever admit, and his arch-nemeses are the beansprout, Norma Beatty, and Pearl Fey. |
